Community Ambassador Projects

Our Ambassadors serve as youth leaders who contribute to the positive growth and development of neighborhoods throughout Greater Kansas City. Community impact projects include work such as expansion/creation of urban gardens, community cleanups, and beautification projects such as public art murals. By engaging youth to work in conjunction with civic leaders and neighborhood leaders, our youth utilize their talents, skills, and social networks to help support their neighborhoods and contribute to essential community development efforts.

Youth Voices in Violence Prevention Campaign

We are proud to promote the “It’s Time to Step Up” Youth Voices in Violence Prevention Campaign! This campaign was developed by the youth of Wyandotte County, for the youth of Wyandotte County.

This Campaign was rolled out on July 9th and Billboards were put up shortly after that! This campaign targets adults, asking them to “step up” and be role models for the youth of Wyandotte county!
