Youth Ambassadors Mock Interview

Youth Ambassadors (YA) is an educational employment program designed to empower underserved youth (ages 14-18) with important life skills, soft job skills, creative expression, and adult mentors, helping them become future community leaders willing and able to work for positive change.

Each year YA recruits dozens of career professionals to interview our youth at our annual Mock Interview Day. This opportunity helps our teens connect with diverse professionals in various careers and areas of expertise, while practicing their interviewing skills. 96% of surveyed YA Alumni felt better prepared for successful employment after participating in our program.

Our work helps youth strengthen existing skills and uncover hidden talents, while amplifying their potential as impactful citizens and future leaders of Greater Kansas City and beyond.
