While writing encourages students to explore individual experiences and circumstances, documentary development asks them to come together in teams to explore issues facing their larger community. Completed films are a means through which ambassadors can share their findings, insuring the youth perspective is taken under consideration by decision makers in our community. Past ambassador documentaries have included the subjects of violence, gangs, neighborhood blight, transportation, pregnancy, cultural celebrations, family life, adult community member advice and youth aspirations.
