Dear Youth Ambassadors,
I’m scared of the future. Because of that fear, it makes me want to get bad grades and drop out. I can never do that though because my family and my relatives are rooting for me to graduate high school and go to college. I’m scared of the struggle I’ll face. I’m scared to fail in life. I’m scared of who I will become. I know life was never meant to be easy, but maybe I’m just too weak. How do I overcome my fear of the future?
Some things will get in the way of your path but you either go through it or around it. But if you go around it, it’s going to come back. It’s better to go through the struggle than to avoid it.
Face the Future
Don’t be scared of your future. Do what you like to do and have fun with your friends. When you’re in class, pay attention. Try your best in school. When your grades are slipping, try to make up the work. Don’t drop out. I know you can make it through. Ask your friends for help. Most of all, don’t give up.
Just Do It
If you want your life to turn out perfect, do what you think is good for you and your future. Don’t follow someone else who is going to make bad decisions. You were born an original, so don’t die as a copy!
