Dear Youth Ambassadors,

How are you? I’ve got to ask you something: how would you deal with losing both of your parents? Recently, I’ve lost my parents, and I could use some advice. Thanks.

Sincerely,

Lost Without Them

Dear Lost Without Them,

I’m doing fine. Your question is so hard to answer. I can’t imagine what you’re going through. You should find people that love and care for you. It’s good to surround yourself with people that are positive and caring. Be happy and love your life. You’ll get through this.

Sincerely,
Someone Who Believes in You

Dear Lost Without Them,

I’m doing okay. I feel really badly for you. I wish I could do something to help. My best advice is to remember your parents loved you very much. I honestly don’t know what I would do without my parents. I love both my parents equally. If I did lose them, I would do all my schoolwork for them. Let them be your motivation to getting good grades.

Sincerely,
Your Motivator

Dear Lost Without Them,

I’m really sorry about your loss. I think the biggest piece of advice that I can give you is to find people that will comfort you and support you through this tough time in your life. I personally find it much easier to get through problems when I have someone who will be there for me, and I think that could benefit you as well. Find someone you can trust. It doesn’t really matter who – a friend, an adult, a teacher – just anyone who will help you deal with your loss and guide you in a good direction.

Sincerely,
I’m Here For You
