Youth Ambassadors’ Inaugural Blue Jean Bash a Huge Success

Inaugural event, presented by J.E. Dunn Construction , raised more than $108,000

On Thursday, April 12th, we celebrated the power and resiliency of our Ambassadors at the inaugural Blue Jean Bash, Creativity Saves.

The event also honored Jon Cook, Global Chief Executive Officer at VML, for his long-time support of the Youth Ambassadors program and mission. Jon has spearheaded VML’s expansion since 2011 and is a leading advocate of the VML Foundation. In 2017, he was named one of the 100 most influential people in advertising and was recognized as Advertising Professional of the Year by the AAF-KC.

All in attendance enjoyed great food, amazing company, and engaging presentations of original works by several Youth Ambassadors. The Youth Ambassasdors Art Raffle not inly added to the evenings fundraising total, but allowed more than a dozen lucky attendees to take home a beautiful, one-of-a-kind piece of art created by youth in our program.

We also unveiled the latest VML project to help tell the story of our Ambassadors and all they must overcome to create their best life. They are lessons no child should ever have to learn. The support of many through this event is helping us rewrite the story.

Thank You to All Our Supporters!
